Non-Emergency Patient Transport

Non-Emergency Patient Transport description

NON-EMERGENCY PATIENT TRANSPORT is performed by emergency personnel in a type T ambulance – in type A1 ambulances – Renault Trafic or type A2 – VW Transporter. The patient is transported in the lying position (on a stretcher) or in the sitting one (using a stair chair or wheelchair).

The equipment of an ambulance is compliant with requirements of Polish Standard PN-EN A1789 A2.

Non-Emergency Patient Transport price list

The cost of private transport, depending on the length of route, starts with PLN 3.50 per kilometer.

The transfer of the patient from and to an ambulance and the waiting time of a team are free of charge up to 15 minutes. Each next 30 minutes or part thereof (e.g. protracting hospital discharges, logistical issues) constitute an additional cost in the amount of PLN 50.

The company of a significant other during transport or luggage transport with the patient = PLN O.

We perform transport not only within the towns and cities of Świecie, Bydgoszcz, Grudziądz and Chełmno, but also within the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodeship and the whole of Poland.

All prices are gross (the service of an entity with a VAT-exempt status). The patient, family or legal guardian receives an invoice. Make use of private medical transport offered by Carmedic, providing your significant others with professional non-emergency patient care in all emergencies.

Medical Transport

Medical Transport description

MEDICAL TRANSPORT is performed by 2 paramedics or one paramedic and a nurse in a type B ambulance – VW Transporter or type C one – Peugeot Boxer.

The patient is transported in the lying position (using a stretcher) or in the sitting one (in a stair chair or if need be in a wheelchair). An ambulance for medical transport is fitted with specialist equipment for saving life and the monitoring of patient’s condition.

Medical transport price list

The cost of medical transport, depending on the length of route and the patient’s condition, starts with PLN 4.50 per kilometer.

An additional nurse in the team – the cost of PLN 60 for an hour of work.

An additional doctor in the team (an ambulance marked with S) – the cost of PLN 150 for an hour of work.

International Transport description

You are welcome to make use of our international non-emergency patient and medical transport services performed in an ambulance of each type. We cooperate with insurance companies to agree on the transportation route and optimize costs.

Event Medical Cover

Event Medical Cover description

Patient care a corporate event, a cultural and educational event, a sporting event or maybe a mass event and you have to provide, in compliance with the law, medical care for participants and guests? We will gladly free you of this duty so that you could take care of the planned event programme. Our paramedics, advanced first aid paramedics and a medical doctor in a specialist Emergency Medical Services Team are at your disposal. We will come, put up one or two tents as the First Aid Centre, provide one, two or three ambulances and teams on foot, on motorcycle ambulances and on a quad bike with evacuation stretcher.

Home Visits

Home Visits description

Home visits are priced and planned in advance, at telephone number: 733 998 333 and our employee comes in the morning or evening hours.

We also instruct significant others in taking care of the patient on the spot.

We operate within the area of up to 20 km from our office: the Poviat (district) of Świecie, Świecie, the Poviat of Chełmno, Chełmno and the Poviat of Bydgoszcz.

You can order an ambulance to your home and our paramedic or nurse will i.a.

COVID-19 Vaccination Services

COVID-19 Vaccination Services description

Within the Mobile Vaccination Service our team give COVID-19 vaccinations at home/place of stay of a patient who, for health reasons, cannot come to an on-site centre on his/her own.

We also give the latest vaccinations against the Omicron variant.

The eligibility for mobile vaccination service is determined for people over 16 based on:

- medical documentation about the patient’s health or
- telephone consultation or
- history taking with the patient’s carer

The procedure of mobile vaccination service is similar to giving a vaccination in an on-site centre. An EMS team observe the patient for an adverse reaction to vaccination at least for 15 minutes after administering the vaccine. If there are such reactions, the EMS team are prepared to help patients at home.

COVID-19/RSV/INFLUENZA (THE FLU) type A and B antigen tests

At your home or in your company

We issue a certificate of Covid-19 antigen test result in Polish, English, German or French on the spot.
